Things are broken here beyond comprehension. From an Xastir standpoint I can see what is happening, but not why. Seems like Apple made some fundamental changes to X11 and in the process ruined things completely. The compile/make process is spitting out errors that "the --datarootdir setting

I installed Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5) yesterday. It broke XFree86 and Xastir. I'm still working with the issue to see if I can resolve it. In the meantime I recommend those who don't want to lose Xastir to not upgrade their computer to Leopard. Eventually I am sure I'll get it working, but I
