Thanks for the help I have been a user of unix (SCO & SUN OS) but someone else does the installing and fixing of the OS. I did add the mkiss module and was able to see both ports (Hf and VHf) packets come in. So its to installing all the files to install xastir. Thanks again. Kevin KA5STE Roswel
