The question of processing the latest and greatest(?) tigermap files was bantered about here some time ago. I had offered to do some of the crunching on my AMD64. IIRC, Dennis Brashear was the head on the project. I haven't heard anything since. Maybe the idea died on the vine. 73

There used to be a repository of 2003 TIGER/Line shapefile conversions at xastir.tamu.edu. This server seems to be down --- or at least, when I try to connect to it I never get connected. There was talk a while ago of converting the more recent files. Is this still in the works (or should I s
