SPLAT is that good. TV stations are using it to show what the coverage well
be when they go "Digital" in Feb. 2009!
I myself do not have the DEM's or the SRTM's for Indianna down loaded...
yet.
My strong suggestion is that one of the club members out there that is a
linux/unix user/operat
I have used SPLAT! to generate some digi coverage maps here in SW British
Columbia. You can have a look at the maps here to see what Splat! is capable of:

These maps are line-of-sight coverage maps with a receiving antenna height of 10'. The file

SPLAT! is able to plot coverage of multiple transmitter sites, with each
plot a different colour. Overlap areas are in yet different colours again.
