These two packages were added into the xcat-dep, and them have been added
as the dependency for the xCAT rpm package. So using the latest version of
xCAT and xcat-dep can make the installing of elilo and xCAT-genesis to be
automatically.

We just ran into this at another site. We had to add 2 packages to the service.otherpkgs.pkglist:xcat/xcat-dep/elilo-xcat-3.14-4.noarch.rpmxcat/xcat-dep/rh6/x86_64/xCAT-genesis-x86_64Also had to run createrepo in xcat-dep. Can't remember what error caused us to install elilo on the service nodes.Re

for some reason the xcat servicenode script did not installed the
xCAT-genesis package. any reason for that? have we mis-configured
something?
manually install the package and restart the xcatd makes the boot process
work again.

I assume if the cluster was built by the CET with xCAT, then rinstall must
have been working to these nodes in the past. Running that command or the
equivalent two commands is part of the process of installing the nodes.
