Hello, I get the following error when trying to create a stateless image using squashfs with xCAT 2.8 packimage -o rhels6.2 -p compute -a x86_64 -m squashfs Error: mksquashfs could not be run successfully Is there a known issue with that? Thanks!

Dear All, I have found a fix for this. It seems like the image/picture(splash.xpm) loaded by grub overrides the Text displayed. Since I removed the below line from GRUB it shows the splash screen. splashimage=(hd0,1)/boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz Hope its helpful. Qamar Nazir Best Regards, *Qa
