FYI,
The kernel panic came from the rcons settings in my nodehm table. I deleted
those parameters (serialport, serialspeed and serialflow) and the installation
could start again… .

Yes, you're right.
I read somewhere in this user list about your workaround.
This is not a big deal to rsetboot nodes before a new installation, just
frustrating because I can feel it's just about to work … .
Maybe the next xCAT release will improve this part and compatibility with RHEL
6 .5.

So this is sadly one of those weird things in BIOS implementations that we
struggle with. Exiting a PXE and continuing on to boot from hard drive can
be tricky.
One thing to check is if your bootorder is missing hard drive from the
sequence.
If the hard drive is after pxe, then this is one of th

It works well, the OS starts normally… .

I will warn you we did not test or support redhat6.5 until our next

xCAT level though.
Could you give us lsdef boot2 and a tabdump site.
Is this a new installation? Might check the setup with this doc, it is

Hello all,
After a node has been reinstalled, it won't boot its OS.
The installation works well and once it has to reboot, I can see on the remote
console (BMC) that it's kind of stuck on this message:
