Which OS were you deploying? And which xCAT version you are running? (lsxcatd -a) For rh and sles, xCAT is using dracut to generate the initrd. We can take a look what xCAT can do when call dracut to genereate initrd. ThanksBest Regards---

[xcat-user] nextscale nx360m4 GPU not booting from hard drive after installation

Hi, Installing 6 new GPU NextScale nodes...installation went fine but on the reboot nodes get stuck after going through POST. Nothing on the console as far as I can tell. Tried changing boot order to hard disk first and also changing from UEFI to Legacy and that did not fix it. Also tried rsetboo

Just an update. Manually modifying the init script to "insmod ixgbe.ko allow_unsupported_sfp=1" allowed the node to boot. It would be great if xCAT could support in the init script to look for network driver options in the command line and follow those at init time. That doesn't seem to be sup
