It look's like I got it working. When I first tried I used a partition file. Then I tested to edit the default kickstart template for rhel 7.2 then it worked. Probably it was a bootloader entry in the partition file t

We need more detail of how to configured the raid1. Did you change the template file for rhels7.2 to include raid configuration or use the partitionfile attribute for the node?

I'm trying to install a compute node with RHEL 7.2 using xCat 2.12 with the
system in UEFI mode and using software RAID1 for the disk partitions. I
can't get it to work. The installer don't find any disk device to install
on. Shouldn't it be possible to have this configuration?
