Hi Mike what exactly do you mean by sparse?! We are using most of the data from the openstreetmap.org project (cities and roads) and some from VMAP0. A XCM file is basically a zip file which includes most of the data. Topology data is saved in so-called Shapefiles and those are listed in the

Hi I'm trying to create a map of eastern Australia (which is what I used for 5.2.x) and the map generator is complaining that the map area is too large. Here in Queensland, our potential play area is from SE Qld down into Victoria (and even South Australia - one way flights obviously). These
