this patch resolves bean validation issues with sun one application server version 7
and should make PKs ejb spec compliant again.

The files I created would be part of a new module named, most likely, xwork.
The validation system is new in XWork and doesn't have any connection to the
existing WebWork tasks/templates. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear about that in
my original message.

I'm in the midst of applying the new Velocity patch, but separating the
BSF from it for the time being. I'm making it part of the Apache
module. I can hold off on committing it if it should not be in the 1.2
release.

What's the verdict on beta 3? JIRA still lists it as unreleased, the
source zip still doesn't build, and the binaries zip's jars all say
they're beta 4. Are we going to fix it, or just leave it as it is now
that it's out there? And if we're just leaving it, what's the next
version going to be?
