Hi,
I don't know where this question should be posted, but I'll try here.
Is there any plan for XenServer/XCP/Kronos to support the vhdx format
that should get rid of the 2tb limit for a single volume ?
As seen somewhere on the interweb:
Now with VHDX Microsoft kills this limitations and bri
Does anybody know the answer to this previous post? I haven't had any luck yet.
Sorry, I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I have searched for this
answer and just haven't looked in the right place, I guess.

Andrew,
So, I'm going to get off topic (maybe, arguably, it's still within topic).
Looking at the CloudStack website, they said the software is to manage
a large number of virtual machines (VMs) as a cloud computing
platform. What precisely does it help you manage?
For example, I've been trying
Don't know if this is still actual.
If migration hangs (and source host reboots) target host will stay with
paused domain preventing VM to be restarted.

This one is already much better than the existing front page. I have

I have done quite a lot of work recently getting DevStack working well with
XenServer (and XCP). So you should find that a lot easier now. There are a few
patches of mine still pending, but they should hit trunk and stable/essex in
the not too distant future.
The key issue usually understanding
Agreed. CloudStack was by far easier to get setup and has a very mature
installation guide as well as admin guide. There are a few things you have to
keep in mind when setting up Cloudstack 3.0 with XCP 1.5.
1. You have to rename or copy /etc/xensource/installed-repos/xcp:main to
/etc/xensou
Hey guys,
I'm just a user of XCP who has played with all of these, so I don't
consider myself an expert, keep that in mind:
I've attempted to integrate all three of those with XCP at various times,
basically I found that OpenStack will eventually work and is a very active
project, but is so activ
I'm interested in the answers to these questions too. In particular,
I'd like to see some tutorials for integrating CloudStack or OpenStack
with XCP. I've read a lot of documentations online that these third
party management tools can integrate with XCP, but I haven't really
seen any good tutorials
Hi,
I'd much rather we stored timestamps in UTC rather than in local time. Does
anyone know what these timestamps are actually for?
Cheers,

Which one gets the job done best?
Which is quicker to get up and running?
Which has the brightest future with XCP?
Any specific pros and cons I should be aware of?
Thanks

I'd like to post another feature request for vhd-util from CloudStack
prospective.
It would be nice to have vhd-util copy function,
1. it can thin provision VHD file after copy,
For example, in CloudStack, user can install a VM from ISO, after
installation , user
can use it as a template. It

Hi everybody,
at the last Xen Docs Day I got feedback that it is too hard to find
useful information from the wiki front page. Also, much of the
information on the front page (the list of categories) is actually
duplicated on the wiki navigation bar.
There were a few items of feedback I rece
