gPXE + NFS would be how you wanna go. Load the kernel with the following: root=/dev/nfs nfsroot=pathtoyournfs But I kind of feel like, if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't be doing it... Regardless though, PXE/DHCP/NFS/pxelinux/GRUB will be all the various tools you need to accomplish it.
