Hi:
following Gilles suggestion I disabled Altivec support in the kernel.
The results is negative, I mean that X does not start at all. I think that
is compiled with explicit Altivec support (there is some clue about that in
the error message)
OK: a Linux machine is usable in terminal mode :(

Hi:
I compiled the adeos-patched kernel 2.6.10, and I recompiled and installed
Xenomai from scratch.
After a clean boot, using CRTL+ALT+F1 I logged in a pure text terminal. In
this terminal the latency tesk works correctely. If I came back to the
graphics terminal with CRTL+ALT+F7 the behavior of

Ok, if you can, could you try to compile xenomai without FPU support ?

great on my previos iBook). The best distro for PPC is - my opinion -
