Compilation goes fine but when linking getting a whole bunch of Undefined Symbol errors: Undefined first referenced symbol in file void*operator new[](unsigned) ../xerces-c1_6_0-SolCC/lib/libxerces-c1_6_0.so DOM_Text::DOM_Text(void)

Do you keep your RH 7.2 box updated using RH's up2date? Reason I ask is because they have released quite a bit of package updates, notably the glibc package. RH says that binary compatibility stays intact but it would be a warm & fuzzy for myself and possibly other Linux users if you compile with
