Hello,
I've installed what I think are all the static libraries used by Xerces
C++, however I cannot create a static compile for Xerces, and could not
find the switches documented either online or within the configuration
and Makefile.incl files. Note that I've disabled multithreading for now.
I have made the change you suggested.
The other XMLException constructor (that takes arguments) tested if the
memory manager was null and set it to the default.

I should have looked harder to that URL ;-)
Anyhow, I tried using "DOMPrint -n -s" on a dummy XML pointing to that URL,
and it worked (that is, I got a bunch of validat
I've just upgraded an application that used Xerces 2.0 to 2.5. Our SAX
parser derives its own exception class from XMLException. The default
XMLException constructor sets the memory manager to NULL, and the
XMLException destructor assumes it's not NULL and blindly calls
fMemoryManager->deallocate
I apologize for the mistake in the URL - please use the second one :)

Hi Chris,
I tried connecting to the address you provided, but I get an "unknown host"
error message. Are you sure you wrote the URL correctly?

Folks,
Our organization is trying to settle on an encoding and -15 looks like the
prime candidate right now ( I'm not involved in making the decision ).
Version 1.6 does not seem to be happy with the attempt to set -15 as the
encoding. If there is a later version, we would be interested in mov

Hi,
I know that the documentation says if you use G++ you are on your own,
however after revisiting C++ (from a 6 year hiatus), I was hoping to
find some examples the compiled out of the box, when I slapped them into
a new file.
Some examples are missing a namespace declaration (which I had to
