l of the Xerces files but I don't use it that way. We use GNU Make but
yours will probably vary depending on your development system and target
processor. I would suggest finding a good tutorial on makefiles for your
environment.

Xerces works as advertised for VxWorks... you have to port it though.
Here's something I posted awhile back that might be
the problem is. It's all Local Code Page stuff
using UTF-8. My Local Code Page transcoding is pretty similar to the
IconvTransService.

Brian... If I remember correctly you are using VxWorks where all tasks share
the same memory space. So yes, you can pass the pointer around.
