Xerces2-J Jira bug ID 873

Hi all,   Sometime ago, I posted some code to address this shortcoming.  It now looks like a project I am working on could make us of this feature, and I was hoping someone can tell me what the status is so I can plan ahead.     Thanks in advance Dean Chalker
