To Philip Taylor, thanks for your answer, but it doesn't appear to work: it even blocks pdf generation with babel/xetex which was working previously. To Peter Dyballa, I'm not sure I follow you here... All my references are in English anyway, so I'm perfectly fine with having the whole bibliog
