I modified the whiteclass theme xterm-24 cursor to have more contrast
and so I do not search for it on the screen that often.
Maybe you like to copy it into XFree? (license BSD X whatever you like
as usual).
If there is no interest I can just package a darkglass theme on my

You generally just need to do "make World" and then "make install"
from the top level "xc" directory. X should not be running when you
do the "make install" part.
