[XFree86] ATi Radeon TV output

2003-10-25 Thread Fredrik Tolf
Hi! I have become aware that the XF86 driver for the Radeon doesn't have support for TV output. This is rather disturbing for me, since I really, really, really want that. So anyway, what I really want to know is, does anyone know where to get documentation on Radeon programming, so that I can ad

Hey, It pretty much worked for me "out of the box". I notice that you're using the "nvidia" driver, which I assume is the one supplied by NVidia. There's also the "nv" driver, which I guess is the one created by the XFree folks. (I'm not sure if this is exactly the story - I haven't checked the

Hello, I have dual head system on sis315. I've switched Xinerama off to have 2 independent screens. I get that OK, but have question: - Xfree establishes both screens by himself according to XF86Config. Can I do it manually and possibly with different window manager in each screen ? Where should I

Just a quick sanity check to see if I've hosed my X11 headers. If I want to use Xft.h must I add -I /usr/X11R6/include/X11/freetype2 for the freetype/freetype.h? Or should it be unnecessary? Just for some background I'm seeing this: /usr/X11R6/include/X11/Xft/Xft.h:35 :31: freetype/freetype.h:

Hi, i use RedHat 8.0, compiled XFree 4.30 sources, everything went smoothly, installed it, everything ok again, checked the XFree86.0.log, everything seems ok, X starts normally, but the fonts are ugly now, antialiasing seems disabled. I even tried to compile FreeType 2.1.4 afterwards, thinking
