If you have got XFree86 4.3 or better try configuring it as root with "XFree86 -configure" It should write "XF86Config.new" to ./home. Check the file under something like emacs for correct hardware reconition before using it. You dont need "modes" for the thing to work. Wendell > On Thu, 4 Dec
