That chipset works fine here with 1024x768x16 with a 2.6 kernel and a 4.3.99 snapshot (about a month old) on a toshiba laptop.With other laptops you might have different issues though (BIOS).There are various patches out there that all work or not to some degree. Check here http://www.chzsoft.co

Hi i have in my /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/* directory a whole bunch of pcf.gz.fonts, but it seems they r not usable. How can i use these? It seems xfontsel can display some of them, but i cant select any of them whithin KDE or Gnome any idea? -- Gruß Frank __
