I usually have one ".xession-errors" in which I find this message :
'stderr is not a tty, where are you ?'
except this report all seems to go well
do you know what is wrong ?

Let me propose a "hardware" solution. Try using mouse pads with a built in
wrist rest. My wife had this problem and getting her this type of pad sorted
out the problem.
For the record I used a pad made by "d boeder", now called Ednet. The wrist
rest is gel filled. The pad itself is oval.

If I understand your question correctly you want to ba able to boot into text
mode, without starting KDE.
You can try the following. Note that this is based on Mandrake but it should
be similar in red hat.
Press Control-Alt-F1. This will take you to a text mode session. Log in and
then type su

missing from Slackware's XFree86-fonts-scale-4.4.0-noarch-1.tgz package,
and found that it was left out of the fonts/scaled/TTF/Imakefile in

I started XFree86 4.4.0 with "-dpi 100" and "-dpi 150", and looked at a
