Can you send your XF86Config file.
There is something strange going on there. The log file indicates that you
have a virtual screen that is smaller than your actual screen. A virtual
desktop would allow you to display say a 1024x768 layout on a 640x480 screen
and pan around.

I am sending this error report in windows because
i am very much new to linux and i don't know how to
send mail from commandline in linux.I have attahced my

I just converted my Thinkpad T30 from SuSE 9.0 to 9.1. Now, the display
will only start up with 1024x768 resolution, although the external
