First check that the file you are told to remove is actually there.
Note that files with a '.' at the beginning are like dos/windows hidden
files and you won't see then with just an 'ls' command.
Change to the /tmp directory (cd /tmp)
Type "ls -a" to see all of the files in the current directory

Please help... I have no idea. I have Mandrake Linux 10.0 and 9.1, I've installed the
newest Ati drivers for my Radeon 9800SE
using rpm -Uh --force {filename}
it shows me this :

It's using 8-bit color depth, which will make things look pretty rotten.
In the "Screen" section, change the Depth and the DefaultDepth to 24 and

The reason why I'm asking is because I have a wide screen laptop that uses a
screen res of 1680x1050. yet for some reason with the ati drivers I just
cannot get it to load using this res. Before you say this is not Xfree

im Sorry, but i can't Post the Log, i c have no Internet Access or other
connection to any Media/PC to transfer. I only can manually write down this.
