[XFree86] Using xgamma with i810

I have an intel 852 graphic card that uses i810 driver. When i change values with xgamma (xgamma -gamma 2, for example), nothing happens. The colour remains the same. How can i change the colour of the screen? note: it is a laptop, so it has no osd controls. Thank you. ___

Hi all! Is it possible to increase the color level of a screen using x? What i want to do is to saturate more the color of my laptop, because it is shown too low, like not being enough. I have tried using xgamma, but actually it does not do anything. Thanks too much. Fernando Alvarez-Uria Mad

Hi Jason: Ive read your post, and maybe you can help me whith something similar: I have a laptop which has a screen plug (db15). If i turn on the laptop, the screen that works is its lcd pannel. If i turn it on whith an external screen pluged into the db15, that screen works, but not the lcd.
