Do you have the same problem if you simply use a general SVGA driver
for your video card?

Debian (testing) packaged xfree86 4.2.1
It does not free all memory after launching and closing applications.
Yesterday (after 10 days running) it had 783568 Kbytes memory allocated.
Today it has 888040 K.
Is it normal? Any idea what to do.

running it is more tricky,
and many Sun video cards will not be supported, so it depends on which
one you have.

Unfortunately, the option to take screen 1 is not possible because I'd

I am having trouble getting the grafical
userinterface working on my IBM Thinkpad A31. I have upgraded mig kernel to
2.4.22 and my Xfree86 to 4.2.1. I am by the way running debian an i am
interestet in getting KDE to work:) I am getting this output in the
XFree86.0.log:

Is there any way I can reconfigure the keyboard mapping so that these

When I upgrade to XFree86 4.3.0 I still get the same problem.
Perhaps somebody who wrote the driver knows what was change from
4.1 to 4.2!?
