So far I haven't been able to get DGA working with any
version of X 4.x so I figured now was as good a time
as any to ask...
When I use any program that uses DGA, my screen goes
black (but not into powersave) and nothing displays.
All other functions of the program work (e.g. sound,
control, etc.)

I'm not familiar with winmsd so this may not be what
you're looking for, but "lspci" lists all the devices
found on the PCI bus.
