i've installed redhat 8 on my Dell inspiron 8000
and everything seemed to be fine until i tried using it (i.e. after the
installation). X will not start at all. It says there is an
error with no modes being able for the screen, and screen not found. I
presume that this may be fixed by changing the settings on the video card and
the screen type, but i do not know how to do this, except for completely
reinstalling everything, which seems unncessary. what should i
do?
