[XFree86] Hi, bug of xfree86

Hi,     My portable PC is "DELL Inspiron 500m", and the Video Card is Intel855GM.For the sake of video card, I download and install xfree86 4.4.0, in Redhat Linux 9.0. When I completed the installtion, the X server can't start, and it reports errors. may you help me ?   Thanks a lot.

My pc is also Inspiron 500m, and I encounter the same question as you, this is what I did: 1. download xfree86 4.4.0 from http://www.xfree86.org 2. copy and backup three directories: /usr/X11, /etc/X11, /etc/fonts 3. notice: leave these three directories there. 4. sh Xinstall.sh, and don't overwri
