I am attempting to install Mandrake 9.2 on a Dell Optiplex GX1, PII 350 mhz, 128 mgs RAM, with a Gateway VR900 monitor. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of video card it has on board (Mandrake claims its an ATI Mach64 Utah) and will hopefully know soon (I realize this is probably the most important piece of information--I just can't figure out how to open the damn case!). The install went smoothly except that when Mandrake attempts to load X, I get a 'screens not found' error. I've played with the settings a bit, but with no luck. Any ideas?
