[XFree86] Problem with nsc driver

I am using a board with the 5530 chip. When I switch consoles, the display is blank. Also, sometimes the unit will not enter graphics mode when I start X (the screen is blank). I can not get any error information because I can not switch to a text console when this happens. Is there a solution
