Sounds like you had the same problem I had. I got this info from an XFREE86
employee. My distro is Mandrake 9.2, and I have not yet gotten Red Hat 9.0
working. You will have to boot into a failsafe mode session from boot.
In directory /etc/X11 edit your XF86Config file(s). In the Device Sect
Xwindows not loading, log files say's missing FONT filesif anyone knows how to
slove this problem.
