trying to compile OpenOffice gives me the following error:

I'm a bit confused now, never noticed such warnings and OO is surely not the 
only app including Xrender.h.
Cursor seems to be typedef'ed in X.h, but gcc (in my case 3.2.2) seems to be 
right, no header is included that defines Cursor.
Any ideas?
