Im a completely new user to unix, so bare with me. I have been attempting
to get Xfree86 running on my OpenBSD 3.6 platform. OpenBSD 3.6 installs
with the Xfree86 files. I ran the xfree86cfg -textmode and set up the
xfree86cfg file. I then tried to run Xfree 86 by typeing X at the comma
It's the Direct Rendering Infrastructure. It's needed for
HW accelerated OpenGL. Perhaps it doesn't get built (unsupported?)
on OpenBSD. Comment out the module in the /etc/X11/XF86Config.
It should be optional for most, if not all, drivers.
