Greetings, Likely he's referring to having to enter the user name and password twice in each client - once for POP3 authentication and once for SMTP authentication. However, many clients have an option to use the POP3 credentials for SMTP authentication, which could alleviate this. I agree that

I meant enter a user in MAILUSERS.TAB and then again in SMTPAUTH.TAB . Did I missunderstand? Sometimes the manual can be a bit perplexing : ) Actually while were on it doesn't SMTPAUTH.TAB and (manual Part9: SMTP Client Authentication) userauth/smtp/foobar.com.tab do basically the same
