hello davide and list,
we use extaliases.tab for adress-mapping. the problem is, that xmail changes
the return-path, because we use digital signatures.
so these signatures are getting falsified by xmail, at least the client in
the internal net who gets the mail is thinking that.
my idea is,
Is there anyone running a XMail server on Win2000 with both automatic
SPAM protection (like SpamAssassin) and virus scan? I need some help
setting this up on a private server with 2-5 domains and aprox 100 users
in total.

Spyros,
Look in the docs for Command Line (part 19)
There you can configure the command line switches for logging f.i.
Send me the error report from your ISP ... I'll have a look
Cirio ;-)

Well, I added

To my registry (-Pp 110 -Sp 25 -Cp -Sr maxrcpts 1000), and trying to
send a message with even 1 recipient is denied with 552 error message. I
then tried 999, and 900, and same thing.
What am I doing wrong?

Hey all,
I've gone through the documentation and can not find where how to disable
the built-in finger server.
Is there a switch or something to turn the finger sever off completely?
Thanks in advance,

When somebody tries to abuse the mailserver this can be a very usefull

Very useful to me but. I have one IMAIL sever right now and I actually
wrote a service to tail the log file, interrupt the smtp
I agree. But I also feel that there are several options that XMail could =
learn from Postfix without getting bloated. I think it would be a Goot =

The only option that I think is _really_ useful is the hard error limit.
The others would be nice but not essential. Also make the default a
reasonable number (like 100). Also make sure to include logging that
this is why connections are being disconnected and the source IP.
