I started my local nameserver up and now the connections seem to get released. Now when i stop my local name server and XMail connects the second nameserver in resolve.conf (no matter if the one in my intranet or my ISP's) the connections won't get released anymore. When i set the SmartDNSHost it

As i said, my smartdnshost in server.tab is commented so i don't use it. My XMail definitely uses my ISP's dns server as the 1000 open udp connections show. Where from does it knows that when not from resolve.conf? BTW, there are about 5 connections to an internal name server in my intranet, which

i didn't set the smartDnsHost. I have a local dns server, but it was actually down and it seems that the problems appeard just after its shutdown. The order in my resolv.conf is first my local and then of my isp. Could this have to do something with the problem? I startet my local server again now
