This subject has been on the list couple of times. This can only be done by
changing the source, because there is not real use of altering the banner
and Davide doesn't do things that don't matter.

is a frequently updated listing of all known (to them, but a very complete
list) blacklist servers.

The smartpost project can be found at:

They have the links there to download all the necessary files (one for
the xmail binary and one for courier-imap).
