Hi, I'm using an old Xmail 1.21 on Windows server 2003, which has been rock
solid for years.
Recently I've started to see occasional DNS issues where xmail is attempting
to send to the A record IP rather than using the MX.
Looking in the Xmail MX cache folder, it has the correct MX servers for
-address for right server

I have the same ENODNS with xmail 1.21
Interestingly, dnsreport.com for returns.bulk.yahoo.com says:
I was unable to get an answer from the parent servers [bulk.yahoo.com], when I
tried to find the NS records for returns.bulk.yahoo.com.
Could that be the problem?

I found a post on http://xmailforum.homelinux.net/index.php?showtopic=601
where do you send the mail to? You can always send to a local account without
authentication.
if it's not local you should get an error.
