We are currently migrating our email system from Exchange to Xmail but we
are doing it one step at a time. Here is our setup, we disconnected our
Exchange from the internet and set it to relay all outbound messages to our
new Xmail server. We have some Exchange users that are not allowed to

selected domains? This is our situation, We have an exchange server,
exchange.com and xmail server, xmail.com. There are certain xmail users that

Thank you very much Rod for a detailed instruction. I will look into this
immediately. However, We will be moving some of our exchange users to Xmail
that is why I tried to test using smthauth.tab to block a user in Xmail but
it did not work as I stated below. Any ideas?

Is there a way to block certain users in sending out emails outside Xmail or
to the internet? If the blocked user or email address sends out an email,
there should be an autoreply stating that he is not allowed to send out
emails outside the domain. Got any solution for this situation? I am

Is IMAP possible in Xmail? Or other means of retaining the messages in the
Xmail server. Even if the client (Outlook/Outlook Express) had accessed the
mails already we want the message to be retained in the server or if not
possible a copy.
