XMail is working fine now, but I have a problem when I want to use the mailing option within Star Office. If I set the smtp to use the internal sendmail, it forms a loop and then errors out. The same happens with an auto responder script.
Is there something I haven't done, or something that I should do? tim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sönke Ruempler" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, April 29, 2002 5:32 AM Subject: [xmail] Re: [OT] Is there any good firewalls out there for win2K server??? > > That service only protects the LAN, not the server. > > Try the following, it's a Linux based firewall, very easy to = > > administrate > > and install (just burn the iso image) http://www.smoothwall.org > > yes the problem for a windows firewall is, that the base (windows) itself is > unsecure and buggy :-) > > i have setup iptables for myself, it runs without any problem - and some > more advantage: you learn something about packets etc. :-) > > > - > To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in > the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
