Next, I am currently installing Darwin on x86. Everything worked well, except now there is an issue with respect to the makefiles. In the makefiles there is a PPC and x86 identifier. Darwin reports back as the OSTYPE environment variable darwin and no platform indicator. So my question is whether there is a big difference between PPC and x86?
