In the documentation I see there's a "Pop3LogPasswd" option that can be
used to disable logging of the POP3 Password. I've tried it in the
servers.tab and it hasn't seemed to make a difference. Is there a
specific format I'd need to enter it into the config file (right now
it's "Pop3LogPasswd" "0"
Okay... this scares me. I enabled POP3 logging and started checking it and
decided in a big hurry that I didn't like the log output as it gives me one
more thing to make sure outside users (crackers) can't get hold of. Assuming
I don't have any unusual settings involved in creating my log file,
hello davide,
could you add one ore more fields to the POP3 log?
It would be useful to see:
- if the password was correct or access was denied
- how many messages and bytes were retrieved
- how many messages were stored or deleted
thank you!
