We use scripts written by Edinilson J. Santos .  You can find them at:

We use his AV, and autoreply.  They work very well for us.

  It is in the docs under 'Command line':
      [PSYNC]
      -Yi interval    = Set external POP3 accounts sync interval. Default 120
      -Yt nthreads    = Set the number of POP3 sync threads
