It is not an MTA problem, it is (eventually) an MUA one. XMail, like every
other mail server on earth, return a fail on one of the many recipients
and the SMTP client could still issue a DATA command and have the message
sent to all other recipients. MUAs usually choose to not send the message
at all, considring the send an atomic transaction.
