Lawrence, It appears that including <unistd.h> in src/unix/osdutils.h is causing the DEBUG build of MESS (and possibly MAME) to fail. I'm not sure why <unistd.h> is being included because it seems to compile fine with out. May I suggest to depricate including <unistd.h> in the osdutils.h file for the next release to see if it breaks anything, and if not, then to just completely remove it. For more information see:
