I've given a try to KMS recently. I vahe a laptop with intel i855GM graphics chipset. I'm using intel driver 2.8.1 together with kernel 2.6.30.5. I've noticed, that if I use KMS, I have no XV extension in my system: $ xvinfo X-Video Extension version 2.2 screen #0 no adaptors present In the sa
