Hi,
I have an Intel 945G-based system on which I installed a custom board
(qhal_host below) into the PCIe x16 slot.
I am running Linux 2.6.29.6, Xorg 1.6.0 and xf86-video-intel 2.7.0.
Is there a way to have the Integrated Graphics Controller

Justin,
No I did not use noapic initially.
I just tried and got the /proc/interrupts hereafter, which still gives me
qhal_host and i915 on the same line (IRQ 9)
Would your fix be to enable the CONFIG_PCI_MSI kernel option? I tried it
already and it made no difference. Unlike your 965 system,

another question: how should an Xv client interface with it? Do we have
any interlaced field-aware Xv interface?

Hi all,
I get a strange phenomenon using the XV texture adapter in YV12 format on my
945G hardware and a 2.7.0 xf86-video-intel driver.
I fill a rectangle with many 1 pixel-high horizontal lines. Odd lines are black
and even lines are white. I send this rectangle using XVShmPutImage to a

Hi xf86-video-intel folks,
Are there any plans to support the ability to set the TV_FORMAT (PAL, NTSC,
etc.) on SDVO TV output using Xrandr (or even through xorg.conf)?
Right now, it looks like it is pretty much hardcoded to NTSC-M
(i830_sdvo_set_tv_format in i30_sdvo.c).
Thanks

I am using an Add2 card with a CH7021 on SDVO-B (component output =
CVBS) and a CH7307 for DVI-D on SDVO-C.
CVBS is composite output, component is YPrPb.
You are absolutely right. Should have read my e-mail once more before sending

Hi xf86-video-intel folks,
I just gave a try to a recent driver (xf86-video-intel-2.7-rc1) to see how it
went driving an SDVO TV output.

Hi,
FYI: I do have SDVO TV out hardware and it does work using Intel IEGD.
And yes some people do bother: I would be using the Intel Open Source video
driver tomorrow morning if this was supported.

Hi,
Is the TV out through SDVO supported yet by the Intel driver? I have
looked at recent [ANNOUNCE] messages and it does not seem so, but I
wanted to double-check with the maintainers. Are there any plans to
support it soon?
Thanks
Hugo Jacques, ing.
